| Early Intervention Rural Master's Program and Initial Teaching Licensure with an endorsement in EI/ECSE
The Rural Master's degree/licensure program is a component of the University of Oregon Early Intervention Program. This program is designed to provide advanced training and licensure to EI personnel in rural areas.
The Rural Master's program will offer: 1) 2-3 summers of on-campus College of Education and Early Intervention courses; 2) practica and supervision at the trainee's rural site: 3) web-based conferencing, courses, and methods seminars, and 4) on-line advising and consultation. Rural students will complete the same course work as on-campus students; however, methods courses, advising, and several EI courses will be offered on-line and at the rural local. Practica and supervision will be individualized to meet the needs of rural personnel.
Tuition assistance for summer term is available. Students receiving tuition assistance will be required to sign an agreement of service obligation guaranteeing 2 years work in special education/early intervention.
